Founder story
Built from a real application problem.
Casey Hillers created TailorMe after realizing his direct applications were getting filtered out before a human ever reviewed them. Referrals were opening doors, but the resumes he was submitting directly were not being read reliably by applicant tracking systems.
The breakthrough was noticing that his LinkedIn profile, with structured achievements and experience, passed through screening more cleanly than the Google Doc resume he had been using. That resume looked fine to people, but it read like gibberish to computers.
TailorMe was built to solve that problem directly: keep the resume readable to major ATS systems, preserve the candidate's real experience, and tailor the strongest parts of a master resume to the role in front of them.

TailorMe also addresses the repetitive work Casey found while applying for jobs with a full-time role: instead of maintaining several separate Google Docs and manually rewriting each one, candidates can maintain an inclusive master resume and generate focused versions for specific job needs.
