Job searches do not all look the same. Some people are applying across several roles every day. Others have found a handful of good openings and want to give each application proper attention. The second group should not have to buy the biggest plan just to get fast, customized resumes.
That is why we are introducing TailorMe Plus, a more affordable resume tailoring plan for casual and focused job seekers. Plus costs $7 per month in the United States and includes 10 tailored resumes per day, priority generation, resume customization, and ATS-friendly PDF downloads. New Plus customers can try it free for five days with a card on file and cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
Plus sits between Free and Pro. It gives you more room and control when your search becomes real, without asking you to pay for capacity or features you may not need yet.
Why we built a lower-cost job search plan
Job searching is already full of uncertain expenses. A search can last two weeks or six months. You may need help for one concentrated round of applications, then not need it again for a while. Paying for a large bundle of features can feel difficult to justify when you are only applying to a few carefully selected jobs.
Our Free plan is still the best place to learn the TailorMe workflow. It lets you create three tailored resumes per day, work through resume coach questions, review match insights, and download an ATS-friendly PDF. For many people, that is enough at the beginning.
But there is an awkward point between trying a product and running a high-volume search. You may be applying to four or five roles in one evening. You may want a different visual style for a design role and an operations role. Or you may simply want your resume generated sooner because the application closes tonight.
Plus is designed for that moment. It removes the most common constraints a focused job seeker feels while keeping the monthly commitment low.
What is included with TailorMe Plus?
TailorMe Plus includes the parts of the workflow that matter most when you are applying consistently:
- 10 tailored resumes per day. Create role-specific versions for a short list of real opportunities without paying for unlimited capacity.
- Priority generation, one resume at a time. Your tailoring jobs move through the priority path, while the one-at-a-time limit keeps the plan affordable.
- Custom fonts, colors, and templates. Adjust the presentation for your industry and personal style while keeping the document readable.
- Resume coach and match insights. Answer questions about missing experience and see how your background lines up with the posting.
- ATS-friendly PDF downloads. Export a polished document that is ready to review and submit.
- A five-day free trial for new Plus customers. Add a card at checkout, try the complete Plus workflow, and cancel before the trial ends if it is not right for you.
Plus does not include Professional Headshots with AI. That feature remains part of Pro, along with unlimited resume tailoring and up to three generations at a time.
How Plus compares with Free and Pro
The best plan depends on the pace of your search, not on how serious you are about finding a job. A careful applicant targeting three roles can be every bit as committed as someone applying to 20.
| Feature | Free | Plus | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tailored resumes | 3 per day | 10 per day | Unlimited |
| Generation speed | Standard queue | Priority | Fastest |
| Simultaneous generations | One | One | Up to three |
| Resume customization | Core output | Custom fonts, colors, and templates | Everything in Plus |
| Resume coach and match insights | Included | Included | Included |
| ATS-friendly PDF downloads | Included | Included | Included |
| Professional AI headshots | Not included | Not included | Included |
| United States monthly price | Free | $7/month | $20/month |
Choose Free if you are still building your Master Resume, learning how tailoring works, or applying to no more than a few jobs per day.
Choose Plus if you have a focused list of opportunities, want priority generation and customization, and expect 10 tailored resumes per day to cover your search.
Choose Pro if you are applying across many roles, want to generate up to three resumes at once, or need professional AI headshots alongside your application materials.
You are not locked into that decision forever. Paid plans are month-to-month, and you can move between Plus and Pro from your account as the pace of your search changes.
Why the limit is 10 tailored resumes per day
Ten is meant to be practical, not restrictive. It gives most casual job seekers enough room for a productive application session while helping us keep Plus at a lower price.
It also reflects how we think AI should fit into a job search. The goal is not to generate the largest possible pile of resumes. The goal is to create a strong, honest version for each role you would genuinely consider taking.
Every tailored resume still deserves a final review. Read the summary and bullets. Confirm that every claim is accurate. Make sure the document emphasizes the experience most relevant to the job instead of merely repeating phrases from the posting. If TailorMe asks about experience that is missing from your Master Resume, answer carefully rather than guessing what an employer wants to hear.
Ten thoughtful applications can already represent a substantial day of work once you include company research, application questions, and proofreading. If you regularly need more, Pro is available. If you do not, Plus keeps you from paying for unused capacity.
Who is TailorMe Plus for?
Plus is a good fit for job seekers who value quality and flexibility but do not need a high-volume workflow.
You are returning to the job market
Maybe you have not applied in several years and want help adapting one established resume to current openings. Plus gives you space to test different roles, improve your Master Resume, and customize the finished document without committing to the highest tier.
You are employed and exploring selectively
An active search is not always a full-time project. You may be happy in your current position but willing to move for the right opportunity. If you only apply when a role clears a high bar, 10 tailored resumes per day is likely more than enough.
You are targeting a small group of employers
Some searches begin with a list of companies rather than a job board. In that case, a useful workflow is to monitor those employers, choose the openings that genuinely fit, and tailor carefully. Plus supports that focused approach without nudging you toward application volume.
You want control over how your resume looks
Presentation matters when it supports readability. Plus unlocks custom fonts, colors, and paid templates, so you can choose a restrained corporate style, a clean modern layout, or another format suited to your field. The underlying content still matters most, but you do not have to settle for one visual treatment.
You need help for one concentrated month
Seasonal hiring, a layoff, graduation, relocation, and an internal deadline can all create a short burst of activity. Because Plus is month-to-month, you can subscribe when the search becomes active and cancel when you no longer need the added capacity.
How the five-day Plus trial works
First-time Plus subscribers receive a five-day free trial. A payment card is required at checkout, but you are not charged the monthly subscription price when the trial begins. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged for the first month.
The trial is available once per customer. After five days, the subscription renews at the localized monthly price shown during checkout unless you cancel. In the United States, that price is $7 per month. We show localized pricing in supported markets before you confirm the subscription.
We require a card because the trial is intended to let people test the actual paid workflow, not a separate demo with different limits. You can use the trial to tailor resumes for real openings, try customization, compare the output with Free, and decide whether the plan earns a place in your search.
Before starting, make sure your Master Resume is reasonably complete. A trial is more useful when the system has accurate projects, responsibilities, results, tools, and skills to work with. Our guide to writing a resume can help you strengthen that source document first.
How to get the most from an affordable resume tailoring plan
A lower price only creates value if the resumes help you apply with more focus. We recommend a simple process.
1. Start with jobs you would actually accept
Read the location, compensation, schedule, work authorization, and core requirements before generating anything. Resume tailoring cannot turn a poor opportunity into a good one. Filtering first saves your time and preserves your daily capacity for roles that matter.
2. Keep one complete Master Resume
Your Master Resume should hold more detail than any application version. Include projects, outcomes, tools, leadership examples, and older experience that may become relevant to a particular posting. TailorMe can select and reshape information that exists, but it should not invent experience to fill a gap.
3. Treat each generated resume as a draft
Read every line before submitting. Check dates, metrics, titles, technologies, and the level of ownership implied by each bullet. A polished sentence can still be wrong. The applicant—not the AI—owns the final document.
4. Customize with restraint
Choose fonts and colors that fit the role and remain easy to scan. A small visual distinction can make the document feel intentional. Too many colors, decorative fonts, or dense layouts can distract from the experience and make parsing harder. Our guide to beating the ATS explains why structure and clarity matter.
5. Track which version you send
Save the job posting, company, application date, and tailored resume together. If a recruiter calls two weeks later, you should be able to reopen the exact document they received. This also helps you notice which positioning earns responses over time.
Can I change from Plus to Pro later?
Yes. If your search becomes more active and you need more resumes, you can upgrade to Pro from your account. Pro adds unlimited resume tailoring, the ability to run up to three generations at once, and Professional Headshots with AI.
You can also move from Pro to Plus when your search slows down. You can review the timing and any billing adjustment before confirming a plan change. The goal is to make the plan match your current search instead of forcing one subscription to fit every stage.
Is Plus worth it for a casual job search?
Plus is designed to be useful even when you are not applying every day. At $7 per month in the United States, it costs less than many one-time resume templates while including an ongoing tailoring workflow, priority generation, customization, and up to 10 tailored resumes on the days you do apply.
That does not mean every job seeker should subscribe. Stay on Free if three resumes per day and the standard queue meet your needs. Move to Pro if you consistently need higher capacity or headshots. Plus earns its place when Free feels limiting and Pro feels like more than your search requires.
A smaller plan for a focused search
We built Plus around a simple idea: useful job search software should not require the biggest commitment.
You should be able to find a promising role, create a resume that reflects your real experience, adjust the presentation, and submit with confidence—without paying for features you are not using. And when your needs change, your plan should be able to change with them.
Compare Free, Plus, and Pro on our pricing page, or start your five-day Plus trial when you are ready. A card is required, and you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first monthly charge.
